The former food minister and state forest minister, Jyotipriya Mallick implicated in a ration corruption case, was presented before the Bankshall court. The hearing, scheduled to commence after 2:00 p.m., will address an application filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) seeking custody of the ministers.
If granted, the ED will have the opportunity to interrogate the ministers, and this development could also lead to the questioning of businessman Bakibur Rahman, who was previously arrested in connection with the same ration corruption case.
